So I have been lucky enough to know the camp director of a local camp that is close to my place. They have an indoor gym that has a skatepark in it, it's not huge but it's a fun little place to mess around in and with living in Minnesota it's really nice to have because the Camp director lets me use it whenever I want. He is also letting me do a BMX Freestyle camp the last weekend of September. They are also letting us build a pump track and dirt trails out there, which I am hoping we can have a few jumps in by the freestyle camp. Since this is the first year and we haven't had a ton of time to plan what I have going on is the park section (which you can see in the video) and in the gym we will do a few boxes, and rails, and then like I said hopefully have a couple dirt jumps done outside by then.
So what I have come to you guys to ask is just for some ideas as to what we can do besides teaching kids tricks and stuff, basically like games what I've thought of so far is:
High Hop
Some kind of race to see who can put tubes in, tires on, and air them up, and put them on the bike the fastest
Footdown
Do you guys have any ideas?
My awesome wife (who is a graphic design student) made this poster
And just yesterday me and some friends filmed this little promo at the camp:
Any input and ideas such as if you were to go to a camp what would you like to do and see, etc. Thanks a lot guys!
