I got a BSD half link today and it's making horrific noises. My old chain didn't make these noises so it's not my driver or misalignment of my sprocket. Could it be the chain stretching because people say that could be it but the noises are just too harsh.
P.S-The chain is not too tight it is at a good tension.

It's normal. Same to me when I installed my brand new (half link) Shadow Supreme.
Don't know where the heck the sound was comin' from, but went away after about 3 sessions and 2 lubing cycles...

My buddy has it and it sounds awful . It's just the chain . He rides a coaster and at first I thought he fucked the internals up but it was the chain . Sounds nasty as hell . I ride one BSD halflink in my chain and it's fine but the whole chain , at least his , is crap

You might want to try with a new sprocket when you move form full to half links the old chain left its patron, You could brake the chain or it'll pop out the sprocket.
