I guess whatever floats BSDs boat, if this will help for them to survive in the BMX industry and they don't go cheap I don't see a problem.

I didn't realize Walmart did third party sales like amazon. I guess whatever it takes to be competitive and work towards a monopoly, haha.

people should see this as a positive, means bmx parts are becoming more easily accessible, and MAYBE the 9 y/os who go to wallmart for a bike might come out with something half decent sometime in the near future

I agree when I was young around that age I'd jump crappy mountain bikes off sketchy ass built ramps in back alleys with cinderblocks and wood planks and shit would just fall apart

I personally am one who like to support local shops and help small business, BSD doing this hurts small shops that sell BSD products.

I'm like 99.999999 sure I saw bikewagon on amazon as well. Niagra is more common, and I got my chain from Speedgoat. Also, there are a lot of sites that don't stock anything, they just middleman that shit to you. Order it, pay $125 for that $400 bike frame you orderd from them, and have it shipped to you instead of them.

Pricing looks to be on par or more than Dans.
BUT if you look it is packaged and shipped from someone else, so it is likely just a 3rd party using walmart to get their name out as a cycling part company.
I wonder if BSD even knows?

Bsd is a small company who is going to make more money and stand a better chance surviving selling their products at Walmart.......they can sell more stuff at a cheaper price, at small bike shops the prices get jacked up from the distributor as the middle man then jacked up again for the shop to make profit

Funny thing is, as soon as I went to bikes on the site, the first thing I saw was a Mongoose cruiser knock off of a Surrey Moonlander. Why they would make a cruiser instead of a mtb like that, I have no clue.

It's not a knock off moonlander, it is a cruiser with huge tires, more of a knock off of the Sun Spyder, which is at best, loosely based on a Pugsley/fat tire bike.
The moonlander has it's own class because of the 5 inch wide tires.

Like I assumed, it seems like BSD had no part in this Walmart thing. They may or may not have a deal with "Bike Wagon" who in turn have a deal with Walmart.

Yeah I figured it would be 3rd party haha. Or at least hoped. See the thing with parts being sold at walmart is it destroys the companies reputation. Whether the company makes legit parts is pretty irrelevant because kids don't want to be seen on "walmart shit" and I pretty much agree, I doubt I'd buy anything from a brand that has their shit at walmart.
