It's been a while since i've been on the forums around here. I just havent really had time to do much with it. I've gotten better since the last time I was on here. Bought a new camera d3100, got a new bike (built up a colony), and have gone to a lot of cool places.

What I am trying to say is that I am back, and I can tell i missed it.

My question is that i am not scared to throw the bars when i have my back foot on my peg and can hop and throw, but when i go all pedals i feel like im too high over my bars, any tips?

Welcome back to Vital.
A good tip for bars is lean over them and keep your legs straight, this will keep your knees out of the way.

Haha nah, I just started trying them yesterday, never had the drive to do them until my friend learned them too. I'll actually try them today, i just asked on here for basic tips, before I got to go out and try them.

Recently my friends have just landed a few of their first bars, and now I'm in the same position and want to learn them so bad (self-induced peer pressure pretty much). I asked my friends how they got them and how they got over the fear of getting high up and over the bars. They said that they did them off cement into grass at first so you will have a soft landing when you fall. They also said hop really high but take your left or right foot off before you land so you can ensure stability. Then once you feel confidant in throwing and catching, go balls out and try without taking your foot off. Just some little tips that I am also going to try too.
