When looking at bike checks, I see that some of the park riders like Kyle Baldock and Jeremy Malott have put barends inside the steerer tube bottom to make footjam tricks less painful. I'd like to do this too, but does anyone know how?

I've got the ODI barends, but they're too small to fit in. Anyone know the proper setup?

It's a neat idea but unless you're doing double whips to footjam whips on a 6ft quarter then in most cases it's not going to be a huge factor . Get a show with good padding and it'll have the same effect , or get a fat tire up front.

Your foot should be on the tire and adjacent to the fork boss / steertube , if you're foot is getting sucked into the space in between try switching how you do them ?
