Hi guys,

For the first time I have seen a guy doing barspins by moving his front foot completely on th crank before throwing the bar. He was riding only in park.

The question is: why? I never tried and I don’t even know if would be possible in street aswell, since you won’t have enough time in the air.

Thank you

To pinch the frame

When I do them I ride with my feet squeezing the crank because my natural barspin is into my back foot so I like my feet closer

Yup, he pinched the frame. I'd say you can do it on flat too, just need to be able to hop with your foot/feet on the crank.

I actually have been toying with this. Ive been wanting to do hop/flyout x-ups and eventually barspins and I see people put themselves in similar body positions for both hop bar spins and x-ups.

This is actually the only way I can successful do pull-up bars flat since I throw opposite and this way my front foot is farther from the bar so they can spin.

Worry less about your feet and just focus on the barspin itself
