What better for a driver? Heard of people blowing out bearings but haven't heard much about bushings don't know if it's good or bad, if people stay away from them or they're just that good?

I'm not 100% sure but my federal free coaster v2 driver had 2 driver bearings on the outer side and a bushing on the inner side and he bushing hasn't shown any wear over almost 2 years
Needle bearings in my opinion are the best. The driver system the Primo/Cult cassettes use is the best, bearings in the backside, needle bearing under the teeth.
Smaller bearings which are used in 9t drivers tend to shit out pretty quick (in my experiences anyway) and bushings can deform and feel tight, at least from what I've seen on the hubs I've worked on at the shop anyway.

But if you had to choose between bushings and standard bearings what would it be? And the driver will only be bushing the rest of the hub will be bearings so I don't think the driver would deform the bushings but yet idk I guess they work cause company's use them

I have to agree with you my new hazard v3 has needle bearings so much easier to grease and seems stronger than standard ball bearings, well since there isn't a ball bearing cage like in normal bearings there isn't really much to go wrong with needle bearings
Needle bearings are the best, but between standard bearings and bushings, it depends on whether you want a smoother hub or a more durable hub. Bushings aren't nearly as smooth and don't spin as fast, but tend to last longer. Standard bearings don't last nearly as long but spin smoother. Needle bearings will last longer and spin smoother and faster, so they're the best option.

Pretty much what ohioan said.
If I had to choose, I probably couldn't honestly. I like the smooth feel of the bearings, but hate having to replace them if they blow out which the smaller ones tend to do but not for everyone. A bushing would last longer as said but also not feel as smooth in some cases.

Not really. Still going to be noticeably rougher than sealed or needle bearings.

Oh really I would of thought it will help it run smoothly
