Hey guys, I'm a beginner riding a '99 Powerlite P19 Falcon and I'm looking to get a new bike. I found a WTP Justice on Craigslist for $225. He says it has Quando rims, Shadow Handle bars, a sunday headset, vp medal pedals, an arcade seat, and giant waffle tires. It looks like it's in good condition and I've researched the bike a little bit but I can't find much on it in terms of all those parts. Thanks!

He said another guy is going to look at it tomorrow (I'm going tomorrow as well, its around 2 hours away) and theres another bike there for $200 it's a "United Supreme 2012" with all stock parts, is that bike worth 200?

Either one of those will be fine I like the united.

If you're a beginner both would hold up, although one's from 2012 so it might be pretty used. The justice isn't bad, but I'd keep looking for custom bikes rather than stock ones.

the united seat doesnt look right. looks to big...and the bar angle + that makes me think it wasnt really used for freestyle mor like riding around- so maybe that means its lightly used? that may be a plus. never know how badly somebody abused the bikes.

the justice looks nice, and maybe some aftermarket parts which could be a money saver for you in time, since the orignal owner has already replaced some problem parts of course its a double edge sword. he rode it stock(probably) and hard enough to break or damage stock parts, and while he replaced them just what else is damaged or wearing out that he didnt see or notice? these are things you must know when buying a used bike....

between the two i think your safer with the united, since it probably wasn't used for freestyle riding, but you may get a nicer bike with the justice. the choice is up to you at this point really, but both would be excellent starter bikes.

also Powers Bike Shop for any completes, chad will hook you up.

honestly the wtp seem good because they are quite a good brand, good parts etc. make sure you test it out before hand if you can and drop it a couple inchs of the ground and see if it makes any unsual sound (it should be solid apart from if it has a loose chain)
if you dont have enough money for a new bike then go for a good used bike. because new completes cost about 500 for mid range and about 1000 for the highend bikes.
it cost about 1100 to make a good custom bike but can go way over that price.
i think you should go with the wtp. its a bargain if its in good condition and nothing is wrong with it.
my two friends had united's and they were crap! my bike was a couple years old at the time (brand is wtp) and never had a single problem!
but my friends untied had a couple parts break withen a couple months.. (bent handbars, crappy stem that isnt tight enough, tyres poped a couple times, dodgy brakes, peddle broke off and the other one had a crack)
but thats just my oppion.

Yes, the WTP would be the best bang for your buck, no matter how much it has been used. THey are so solid and have such a good reputation.

Go for the WTP. You won't do any wrong.
