My friend dented his stock single wall back rim, and he decided he'd rather get a new wheel then re lace the hub to a new rim. It also has to be a left hand drive, as he has left hand drive cranks. I'm also curious as to what the best right side drive wheel would be (unless a good wheel can be ordered in both LHD and RHD) as I don't think my stock one will hold up for much longer.

It depends what you're using it for and what your budget is. I've got no complaints about my profile mini, everything about it is just right. But I have the female axle with 3/8ths bolts which I wouldn't trust with heavy peg use.
There are a couple of switchable hubs (or there were, I haven't looked into myself) like the wethepeople supreme switch hub, which would do the job for the average rider

When I buy a new wheel, I'll spend up to $200, same with my friend. We both grind, so male axles are preferable.

I'd go with the Primo Remix v2. It's based around Primos proven driver set up (see Primo Mix and Cult Match) but with a true 14mm female axle, which is the absolute strongest axle choice. You could have it laced to a Sun Big Baller rim, after using a discount code it would come out pretty close to your $200 budget.
