Best Editing App/Software FOR MY BMX EDIT

I am trying to put as much emphasis as possible on the fact that this thread should stay in this section.

I am currently working on a Fall BMX edit and I have always used the Splice Editor app for my previous edits but, I can't get the piece of shit app to stop crashing no matter what I do and it won't let me contact them.

So, I need something new. I don't want anything too complicated either. I just need to be able to make b rolls, add in songs, maybe play around with slow motion, and stuff like that. Just the basics. I use Adobe Premier Pro at school in my video class but I don't fully understand it yet and I am looking for something completely free. I have heard some good things about Windows Movie Maker and have considered trying it out but then I have to plug my phone into my computer and it seems a little easier to just do it all on my phone.

Does anyone know of any good and simple softwares or preferably, an iPhone app?

Windows Movie Maker is very easy to use and simple. It lacks features I want, but if you just want the basics, it should suffice rather well. As for on the phone, I haven't found any I personally liked.

I've started messing around with Movie Maker and I like it. It seems pretty simple but it seems as if when I change a clip's speed, the audio just disappears. I put a video in slow mo and you can't hear anything. Is there a way to fix that?

I used moviemaker for everythingin my last one. When i put slo-mo on a clip it keeps the audio. Maybe you have an old version?

I'll look into it for sure!

I am currently downloading iMovie onto my phone.

Does anyone have any experience with iMovie? I have seen it used a few times, as Max used it for our Day Edit, but I have never used it myself. I am guessing the iPhone version has MANY features considering it's been downloading for the least hour.

I used to use Vegas Pro and it has plenty of options but is still efficient in doing the things you do most often. I'm gonna try to start using Final Cut if the people around here start filming again.

vegas pro is the shit. I have 13 and love it. As for on your phone my tablet has one called movie studio that seems to be pretty decent for a mobile editing program.

On WMM you have to convert your video to mp3, load it to Audacity or some shit, actually slow down the audio track, and re-upload it to WMM as music. Fuckin pain in the ass

Vegas Pro sucks ass it kept crashing and getting so many errors back when I used it. Just use Premiere Pro it's not that hard, the only things you need to do is to put the clips together and trim them down a bit. Slow mo all you do is right click the track and set the speed.

I use iMovie which works just fine and is pretty easy. I see nothing wrong with it.

How about the best free ones for computers? I've always used WMM, but it does lack like others have said.

iMovie is pretty easy on Macs, if it's the same on your iPhone it'll be fine. But yeah if you are cool with torrenting I highly recommend Premiere Pro. You can download plugins to stabilize the video to the way you want it, it's awesome.

Windows movie maker crashes when it gets complicated and youve lots of clips, its good for small edits, but bigger ones it freezes and does so everytime you load it up

I can confirm this. Lots of times I lost hours of editing because it gets too laggy and then crashes. Save often with WMM

iMovie on the iPhone is what I used before I got my Mac to make all my edits. I haven't used it in over a year but it was really good and has a lot of features. Well worth the $5. I took it off my phone though to save space, but I can still redownload it whenever I want.

Right now I use Splice on my phone, it's free. But I'm only using that to merge several videos together for instagram since those dumbfucks took away the option to do that in the app itself for some reason.

On my computer I use iMovie, came with it when I got it and does the job.

Splice crashed every time I tried to export clips and then I deleted that piece of shit app.

I am currently using iMovie for iPhone and loving it!
