Im looking for a cheap, light, and durable free coaster hub for park and street. I love grinding and I do it every day. I can pay as much as 200$ at tops for the hub and I'm fine if the bearing break every year or twice a year but remember, I need a light, lower cost then 200$, and really durable for street, park, and grinding. thx

There is no best freecoaster because most use the same KHE internals just different hubshell. The only different freecoaster hub that comes to mind is the éclat blind hub which uses pawls like a cassette but people are having reliability issues with the springs.

x2, get the freemix guards if you buy one and grind, they slide onto the supplied cone nut so your dropouts dont stretch out

Do t get the one that uses the same internals as the v1 cults. Mine was absolute shit. Lasted like 3 hours

I'm a punk bmxer, I can't do it well so I do it loud.

Honestly most have the same or similar internals.

As far as reliability goes, there are tons of factors that can cause trouble. Dusty air getting into the grease, humidity, how often you do maintenance, and so on.

I guess the Z-coaster is just a little bit out of your price range at $357.99, but that one is definitely different than the KHE coasters. personally I can't give you much advice because I can't afford a freecoaster. Anytime I don't want to backpedal I just take the chain off.

If you're in the U.S. check cheap goods bmx.com they had the best price on the freemix pro that comes with both hubguards..I got mine for $165 a few months ago..that was the best deal at the time and he had them in every variation you could want

First off the kid said under $200 rimjob..and anyone that rides a coaster knows that one of the coolest things about them is that they Don't make noise! And anyone that needs a sound that tells them when the hub is engaged shouldn't be riding a coaster anyhow

Is the demolition rotator slack adjustable? I want to get it, but I'm still broke. I currently use Ezra free coaster, kinda not liking the slack.

You say BMX is your life but you barely ride.
BUT hey, That's none of my business.
