fuck those chains
kmc410: cheap as tits and enough links for 1.5 chains, get 2 for 7 each, now you have 3 chains that cost a bit over 4 apiece and you dont need a 30 dollar chainbreaker

I have no personal experience, but the kmc dropbuster and odyssey bluebird (if you want one half link) are liked a bit.
dont half link chains chew your driver/sprockets up too?

Gusset slink chain, exactly the same chain as the Shadow V2 but for 25 bucks less, or any KMC 510, 410 chains they are dirt cheap and decent.

I think so, because they stretch a lot more and easier. That could be flat out wrong or have more to it, idk.

Alright thanks I did see quite a few kmc chains but I didnt think much of them ive been running a kmc not sure on what one exactly it quite light considering its a full link and the links are quite thick and in 2 years its only snapped 1 time cause I didn't put the half link pin in properly

I think u guys might be right cause I used to run my ybn half link with a chain tentioner and it stretched quite quick but I just put that down to the tensioner and I think it did leave marks on the driver
Those are both really good chains. The 710 is a little stronger in my opinion, it's my go to chain. I also really like the Cult 510 because as you can see it comes with a factory installed half link already.
Basically any 510 or 710 and you are set. The 410 is great on a budget, but if you grind I say go with the 510 or 710.

Odyssey Bluebird or KMC 510. NOT the Cult 510, it's not made by KMC. They're cheap and work great. If you're willing to put out the money, get a Odyssey Keychain when they get restocked. Strongest chain you can buy, and extremely easy to work on.
Half links stretch too much, already put a bunch of marks in my new frame.. Full links do the trick, and most nowadays come with pre-installed half links unless you screw them up. The KMC 510HX Dropbuster by far was the best chain I've ever ran. I mean, any KMC chain is my favorite. I also grease my chain pretty heavily, so I hate hollow things in my chain that leave the grease all noticeable.

count the amount of links you currently have on your chain. if it's an even number don't bother getting a chain with a pre-installed half link because you won't need it.

When I first read about the key chain I thought all the links were Allen key bolt and I really wanted one but then I realised I might aswell just get a decent cheap change it if it snaps

Same I used put loads if chain oil to but it used to always leave grease marks on my leg or jeans/chinos so lately I just put a bit of grease on occasionally

True as long as it works as it should I'm fine
I ride that cult 510 chain honestly its probably one of the best chains I've ever ridden it has held up allot longer than most of my other chains I have ridden. I smash it on everything I have like four bent links in it but its still running fine. As long as you clean your chain and grease it regularly or at least every other time you go to ride it will make it last twice as long. .
