Looking for a half link chain for around 20 bucks, what would you guys recommend?

If your from Canada I'd say 1664 half link mine holds up great .....but since I am on my phone I can't see where you are from so if say cheap halflinks I'd say cult or kmc(pretty much the same thing)

there are no half link chains to my knowledge in the 20 dollar range

Id go for full-link chain, cause if you want the half link chain to adjust the lenght, you can always buy an odyssey bluebird (19$) and it comes with one half link.

Get a full link and buy some extra half links. Get a KMC Kool Chain!! Best full link chain as of right now. Maybe get an Odyssey Keychain when that comes out.

What about the Shadow Conspiracy Interlock 2 chain in purple that's 19.99 on dans it also 10% off so 17.99 if you don't mind a purple chain I'm going to buy the chain.

I destroyed my shadow chain in 4 months. Let me explain this to you. If you look at a half link, youll notice that the links are bent. They bend over and under eachother. If you think about it, when you put that much tension onto a chain with bent links, the chain wants to pull the bends out of the links and make them straight. Therefor, the chain stretches remarkably fast. And when the chain is stretched out, it has to make more room on your sprocket to adjust for the widely seperated chain pins. THUS, the chain eats away at your sprocket teeth and "shark tooth"s them and ruins the sprocket.
A full link has straight plates, therefor eliminating this problem. A full link is also substantially cheaper AND lighter.

im riding halflinks at the moment and like everyone who actually rides knows, THEY SUCK. if i can run full links while fully slammed i do it. if not i throw in one half link
