I know I'm gonna get shit for posting this because there is already similar threads, but any advice on what shoes to get. I like my etnies number mids, because of the protection (ankle strap etc.) but the colour ways are horrible, and the nice ones are £65. So any other alternatives from a good bmx brand. Cheers

I have number mids now and had to gorilla glue them last night because the whole bottom of the shoe is ripping off. Best shoes ive ever ridden were loteks. The company is dedicated to making bmx specific shoes

Not even 2 months. But its basically all hills where i live and i dont have brakes so thats what lead to the shoes falling apart

Same, I've been in Loteks for years. This new line is insanely good.

Very very comfy and great support. They're great shoes but they just fell apart too fast on me

Yeah, I just wish lotek had some variety like before. Honestly now it's no different than the other flimsy generic vulc skate shoes.

Supra Musks 1s. Fucking awesome ass grip and they save my ankles from the pain of underrotated 360s.

Do the number mids cover the ball of your ankle?

Lakias are soo good, my vans were wicked grippy but ripped after a couple of weeks. But I have never worn loteks.
