Bigger Bars, Better Barspins??

Well ever since i got a job (screw that job btw) i started buying new parts more often. My latest change in my setup is a big one for me. I never really owned bars that were taller than 8.666 because i never thought it would be for me. I bought Primo Rebars in 9 inches and an S&M Lil Redneck stem and I can barspin better. Switching from some GY3 Bars and a Tommy Dugan stem its better. I was skeptical when i was ordering, but figured, you know, why not? My idea as to why it is easier is because the shorter reach stem and the fact that the bars arent near my knees, but towards my upper thigh, so there is no way they could hit my knee.

Has anyone else made the big switch to a tall front end?

Max actually changes something on his bike any time he sees a change. "Oh, the leaves are changing colors? Better spend $100 on my already dialed bike!" -Max

Actually makes them much harder. No matter how tall your bars are, youre still going to pick them up to the same spot when you throw them. The shorter your bars, the higher your front wheel is off the ground. I also find.bars much harder to.control with taller bars.

I got a job for that reason and so eventually I can drive. I work too damn hard to not enjoy the money...

See, it doesn't for me. Stocksy knows that it made them better for me, he was there. Haha and its because they are above my knees now, not in front of them.

There is no denying having real small bars doesn't also make them easier, but honestly these bigger bars are nice and I wasn't sure what to expect

The smaller the bars, the better the barspin. Get some older 7" bars that are 24"wide

I think I said the same thing awhile ago haha

Definitely gotta have the right style of big bars for it to feel good imperfect tens for example have too wide of a cross bar area for my taste buds

My standard 9 rise 4 piece bars feel like they would be awesome for bar spins

I'm trying them and it doesnt matter that much to me. I hit my knee if im not thinking about where my legs are a bit more if im using bigger bars.

Most people I seem to know that barspins have cut bars, mainly 26 to 27 wide, I only know two people that can bar that have over 28 wide bars

I agree to a degree. I think there is a sweet spot in regards to vertical difference from bb to bar height. Not to be this guy, but I believe that is the reason barspinning a scooter is easy. It's also why some people pull their bars way up when barspinning.

Heck yeah, thanks again for the hook up, having a spare bike has been a life saver quite a few times while having fllats and other issues with the main bike or if I just want to get somewhere fast since the wheels on it spin forever xD
