A lightish weight would be 23-27. Stupid light is 20-22. Basically anything under 30lbs these days is manageable though. You'll be more than ok on 25lbs. (rider size and strength also factor in)
FREE not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one wishes
STYLE a particular, distinctive, or characteristic mode of action or manner of acting
its a solid mid ranged weight, i wouldnt want to go much lighter personally

Nope. Your bike must be sub 25 pounds orits not a bmx bike. Sorry you can't post on this site anymore since you don't have a bmx bike.
I seek progression, not perfection.

does it reallly matter how much a bike weighs , for me the only good bmx bike is a strong bmx bike, i i had a strong bike that weighs like 45 pound or an average stregnth bmx bike that weighs about 24 or 25 pounds i would rather ride the 50 pounds bike because i hate it when shit breaks on you when you doing a run and you have to go because home of it so dont care if you have a heavy bike at least it will last longer.

Heavy doesn't always mean stronger. Hi tensile steel weighs more than chromoly but chromoly is clearly stronger
I'm on the vital legit list!
My bike is 27 1/2 pounds. It's a pretty good weight. I don't think i would want anything under 25 pounds.
I love my bike but i hate myself

I don't really think weight matters too much, I can do pretty much the same shit on any bike, I rode a shitty ass no name bike with mags and everything, it probably weighed around 45 pounds and didn't really make anything harder just couldn't hop as high

i don't go by LB's i go by KG's because it's more rounded off to a bulk weight... my old bike weighed 23KG (50.7LB ) and rode that for 6 years.. it was a mongoose sniper 2005 pro, solid, dented, but never snapped or cracked nor bent.. got a bike check for it if you check my bike checks..
Then i decided to upgrade and got a CULT CC02 2011, which lasted me a year till forks, frame, cranks and everything started to snap and bend... that weighed 12KG (26.5LB ) and by reducing by half the weight, it felt extremely light... but it was still heavy (to others) everyone said your bike is so heavy!" but i never noticed.
Now i have a 9.7KG bike (9 without brakes (21LB ) and it made things a hell of a crazy lot easier cause i went from 23kg to 12kg to 9kg, i could 180 fakie flat and 360 flat with a 23kg bike.
Of course weight does matter to an extent, once you get to 11.5KG LIGHTER WONT CHANGE ANYTHING..
I rather:
balance over weight
decent weight, not lightest but fair light and balanced.
I like my bike to be light. I don't really care as long as its ideally 24 or under. I wouldn't ride heavier than 25. My first bike was 25 lbs and felt good. I'm at about 21-22 now and like it. I don't see how people could ride heavy ass bikes, that would take the fun out of doing tricks for me anyways.

With 2 pegs mine was about 23 I haven't weighed it recently after getting lighter hubs and parts (Not really trying to) I can still 180 a 30lb bike with a 20 inch tt it's just harder and less fun. my old bike got to like 27 28 and it didn't feel that bad or anything.

I remember one of my Flatland bikes was a hair under 18lbs. It was HORRIBLE, totally ruined any riding I wanted to, When rolling whiplashes i would lose the back end of the bike for a split second then it would be under me & i'd be fucked haha. I want my Flatland bikes around 20-22lbs & i want my Street bike around 24-25lbs.
