I spent over $1000 on my bike. If it cant handle falling over or having its handlebars stepped on, I think I want to quit bmx and live in a padded bubble for the rest of my life.

When I was building up my bike it fell and I scratched one of the frame's stickers and I cried for a good 3 hours. I haven't actually ridden my bike yet. If I ever do I will cover the tires, pedals, and grips with plastic so they don't get dirty.

You shouldn't do that. It could cause a scratch which will result in rust which will lead to a hole in the frame causing it to snap and impale you ending your life. Bike stands are life saving tools!!
