I just broke my finger on my bike trying a front flip I over rotated Nd flipped over the bars I guarded my face with my hands and messed up my finger and may be getting pins... I guess just post stuff about your bmx related injuries and what you did when you couldn't ride

I sprained my wrist right before Christmas trying to stall my rear tire in the air, and I just broke my nose monday. I've just been looking at new bike parts watching biking videos, catching up on tv which I rarely watch when I'm not injured. One thing to keep you busy is to dial the shit out of your bike and make it perfect. I also played xbox quite a bit.

Broke my finger & tore my ACL.
ACL was by far the worst, fuck going through that again.
What in your finger did you break?

I broke my collarbone after bailing out on a gap I thought I was coming up short on. I was out of commission for about 2 months and just hung out at the trails to talk with my friends and watch people ride. That summer was horrible. The day after it happened, a bunch of stuff I ordered from Dan's came in too, and all I could do was stare at it until I was healed up. That was 20 years ago though. I also broke my tailbone on a step-up after landing with my weight too far back. I landed on my back tire and looped out way too hard. I was too stubborn to let it heal and riding was really painful for quite a while after that.
Winter is over-rated

Broken 6 Fingers & 4 Knuckles
2 Toes
Cracked Both Shin Bones (Not Fractured or Broken!)
Head Injury > Epilepsy > Partial Memory Loss > 18 Months CBT Therapy & NUMEROUS Head Scans
Cracked Tooth > Emergency Root Canal Surgery (Last Wednesday!)
Right now I take 32 Tablets PER DAY Including Morphine as I can barely move without SERIOUS Pain Killers.
I'm still getting treatment for a couple of My Original Injuries from a Decade ago! I'm pretty broken, It hasn't put Me off Riding, Although I haven't ridden My Bike properly in nearly a Year now (Which is breaking My Heart!) I should be good to go by Summer Time! I have to stretch out A LOT & wear a heavy duty shoulder brace before I can even think of Riding now though!

My friend & I were riding home from school, it was wet out & a tad rainy but I tried bunnyhopping as high as possible down the road & my feet didn't stick too well to the pedals so I lost the bike & landed on my feet, but since it was wet out my right foot slipped and bent my knee weird and I tore it. Thought I just broke my knee or something but thanks to adrenaline I was able to get up and ride off.. Got maybe 300 feet down the hill just by cruising and that's when it all hit me, to quote Alex Liiv "It was like a thousand wooden hookers stabbing me in the anus" haha. So I called my dad & he came to get me and went to the hospital.
Long story short on that hospital trip, the dumbfucks told me I wouldn't need surgery & didn't give me an MRI either, so I went out riding for about a month and the swelling was down & pain wasn't AS BAD, but ended up blowing my knee out a second time which hurt just as bad.
Fuck going through that & the post-surgery stuff as well again

Eskimojay does your spinal cord and pinched nerves still bother you when you ride?? I have same injury off a spine jump..Went to rehab.6 yrs ago and it still feel it to this day. Did you get surgery done ?

I faceplanted going pretty fast a few months ago. Lost a whole buncha skin from my hands and got my braces stuck to my face.
Last saturday i snapped my collarbone (not from riding though) got surgery on tuesday. Doctor says i'm out for three months. Kinda funny how refused to buy titanium parts, but now i have titanium in my collarbone. I've just been watching netflix all week.
I love my bike but i hate myself

Yea my back still hurts to this day but I'm used to it.....,I didn't break any vertebrae just dislocated 2 so they didn't do surgery

It was the middle joint in my index finger.. I'm right handed too and it's on my right hand so that sucks... Reasons... But I fractured it and pulled the tendon partly off the bone so it has to be straight and if I move it I risk pins and surgery and surgery is never fun but this is my third broken bone this year and a torn acl sucks I went through that twice and a guy at my skatepark didn't get surgery for his torn acl so I thought that was a bit crazy

If I were you I'd go get a second opinion, I broke my finger there & they were gonna have me keep it straight too but after a second opinion they said if I went that route, I'd never be able to bend that finger again without rebreaking it. Needed surgery & a pin
Took nearly a year for it to fully stop hurting, I did this in October 2011. Still can't fully straighten it either probably cause of the pin, with a little work it straightens a bit more but not much
Can fully bend it though with very minimal pain, can even crack my knuckles now with some work. Hurts but feels so good because it makes it less stiff
