I tensioned the brake on one side and it works perfect and springs back, but on the other side, I get the tension on the other side to where I want it but whenever I tighten the allen bolt down it doesn't spring back. I hope that makes sense, if not I'll try to clarify more. Any help?

They were rubbing, so I threw two spacers in there to raise it do you think the spacers could be fucking it up?

Don't tighten it so much, GREASE EVERYTHING, make sure you have all paint off the post.

what kind of brakes? you could have the springs backwards or upside down, i know it sounds stupid but you have to have it the exact way or it wont stay tensioned.

I didn't change anything, they came tied up and went on the same way. Possibly up side down, I'll try that.

Dave, do you think the spacers could screwed it up?
