I've been brakeless for awhile and I (including my parents) want some new brakes cuz my stock ones are fucked. I was thinking about a gyro but I don't want something bulky or something really complicated that I couldn't fix easy on the side of the road. I was thinking but a simple brake system but don't know what is good. What do you run? What do you prefer?

I heard that the spring field doesn't hold up well and doesn't last long

Mine are fine. Another option i would look at is the fly manual, but i think they are kinda expensive.

I ride odyssey evo 2's and they work great. Only thing i changed was the brake pas to eclats an I might want a smaller lever if you take your hands off.

Evos Are nice if you can work on brakes.
I had springfields for the longest time and never had an issue apart from the lever being complete and utter shit

Ok so this is what I'm thinking Odyssey Springfield U-Brake, Odyssey Monolever (Small), Odyssey Slim By Four Brake Pads (Normal, Threaded), Odyssey SLS Linear Brake Cable and a Shadow Conspiracy Sano Cable Holder.
