You have to install them you know. You can't say there's a problem without installing them because the pressure will be way higher than you can with your fingers.

I Have Flatware Twoms There Predecessor Brilliant Cranks. To Me, It Looks Like Your Socket Drive Adapter Is Too Long! It's Sticking Out Past The Sprocket Which Obviously Is Fucking With Your BB Cone & Making It Hard To Install, I Have The Bad News That Basically, They Will Never Work Like That. You'll Have To Contact Odyssey, Send Them Those Photo's & Explain You Believe There's A Defect & You're Gunna Need A Replacement Please. Odyssey Have One Of The Best Warranties In The Business, They'll Make Sure You're Sorted Out Mate.

My Main Piece Of Advise IS... Don't Be A Dick! Be Polite, Explain It To The Best Of Your Knowledge & Understanding & Explain It Wont Work & Those Photos MUST Be Sent, It Pretty Much Secures That There IS A Defect That Needs Putting Right!

Actually... Your Sprocket Might Be At Fault Here Come To Think Of It.... Your Sprocket Might Be Literally 1mm Out & You're Fucked Haha! I Think I'd Actually Put Money On Your Sprocket Being The Problem Here!

This is what I was thinking. To OP, could you measure how thick your sprocket is? Would be best in millimeters.
