Is this one of the hubs with 14mm bolts in a 15mm axle? Such a bad idea.. But what’s broken? Am I missing something?

Idk what's broke look at it. Can't you see the chipping of the outside. And when I ride it I feel a clunk every six feet.

The cone nut looks like it was made in a much softer material than what it should have been, which is why it looks ugly and damaged.

But the clunk you hear is normal for a new coaster, just ride it a session or two and it will go away forever.

If you don't install the hub guard, you with wear into the cone nut.. it's friggin' aluminum.. the pop is your clutch sticking because the grease needs a bit of time to work its way around in the hub.. re-install it and go ride.

Also, anybody who chucks a new bike part out their window before figuring out the situation is a wingnut and I hope a dog urinated on your wheel while it was outside.

"Wingnut" as an insult. 5 points for you, sir.

I shall be using that one.

The inner face of your dropout might be gouged or damaged by the looks of the mark. I'd take a look at it. You'll end up messing up every next hub you put on because of it.
