Broken Bones...

Sometimes with a fracture that goes into the joint, you can develop injury to the cartilage - and even develop arthritis
Changes in pressure (that coincide with weather change) and cause this to be painful
An xray would help to explain a lot...

Not sure if youd know but i have no idea what it is...


at work i unload trucks and attach security alarms to the items and after a while wether it be from work or riding (pretty much any stress i put on my wrist) i get this hard knot on my wrist just under my thumb and it makes it hurt to move my wrist around. it goes away in a few days if i rest it enough though

Have any idea what it could be? my guess would be the tendons swelling or something

Sounds like a ganglion cyst - painful but safe

I'll bite, months ago I ate shit & went over my bars and heard a small pop noise as I slammed my arms straight to the ground. Pain was in the middle of my right humorus bone, got it checked out but it wasn't broken or anything but hurt like hell for a week & a half & took weeks to heal & just a few weeks ago finally stopped hurting altogether. Any idea?

A few yeas ago i have had surgery on a collar bone after i broke it. they put a plate in there and i had the plate removed the day before new years. the area is still numb (most likely nerve damage) and every once in a while i get a sharp pain under the skin. not like a nerve reconnecting. but deep in there.

Most likely shoulder instability - a labral tear, or possibly an AC joint injury
If is still bothers you, would get it checked out again

the nerve injured is the supra-clavicular nerve - this occurs commonly, from time to time
you may have a painful neuroma - if your symptoms are bad enough, this can be removed

AC tear sounded about right aside from the shoulder pain, but yeah thanks! I'm all healed up now though, pretty cool of you to come on here & help others out with this sort of thing

After a really good session the part in between my forearm a wrist hurts like a mofo ( the top part) especially when I squeeze it, after a while it goes away, really annoying, Im 34 so maybe its due to old age lol!

over a year ago I fell onto my hip on a wallride, I've had nerve pain on and off ever since then that is similar to what I think sciatica would be decribed like. The pain is in the right side of my lower back radiating down my right leg to the knee.

Do you think its a pinched nerve maybe, if so what should I do about it?

could be a strain between the forearm bones - the interosseus membrane
not dangerous, but painful

usually not a pinched nerve, usually responds to PT working on core strengthening

I crashed, hurt my wrist, couldn't put any pressure on it or move it, it healed up and if I do a drop it get a sharp pain that only happens in the drops.

My right ankle has been sprained six times. It sprains very easily, why?

I cut the end of two of my fingers off about 9 years ago (my right ring and pinky finger), they were able to re attach my ring finger. When my hands get really cold I can feel pain in the end of my pinky finger but it's where my finger used to be, its not in my finger if that makes sense, its super weird why is that? and also my ring finger that they re attached is pretty much all scar tissue and has no feeling

Sounds like some nerve damage

My wrist pain since 7 months or so, i fucked it mtb, landing a big jump with my bars a bit crossed, leaving all the weight in one hand. Can it be recovered?

cant tell you what your injury is.....would recommend seeing and orthopedist

Not really a broken bone but last summer i hurt my ankle(landed sideways assumed it was rolled/sprained) i rested it for about a month then did it again(on the same trick=( )now anytime i ride for more then a couple hours my ankle is extremely sore.... Sore enough to cause a limp. do you have any clue what this might be? and what can i do to help it? I have been wearing a brace and exercising my ankle to make it stronger but it doesn't seem to be helping very much.

I was doing a manual, then I bailed off the bike and I put the legs down very fast and hard... and it hurted a lot, and now, 1 week after, it still hurts...


Is it broken or something?(I dont think so..)
Will the pain go away? How much time?

fuck you. my wrist is fine. I'll ride into my 70's.
