Building a new complete. Does a male front wheel need grease?

Looseball front wheel. I know female front wheel nuts need grease but how about the male front wheels

All metal-on-metal I grease. I run female rear, male front, and grease both.

The gun guys say if it slides grease it if it rotates, oil it.

Totally different subject but pretty much all metal parts of any contraption that press against each other and move needs lubrication.

Bikes use grease on all metal surfaces that move and touch each other. And even some that don't move. For example, your pedals will come off better if you grease the threads before installing. I will help keep rust away and keep the metal fresh. Then when you go to remove them your head won't explode from trying so hard. They need to be on tight of course but red lock tight is not a good idea. Or surfaces that are completely rusted together.
