If you had some rims that fit I'd say let her rip. Or if you can get some for cheap. But yeah, it seems like it's probably a lower end type frame that might just be good for riding around and not too much hard use. I think. Honestly I'm not really sure though. But if the others say so.... It looks like an American bottom bracket with cheaper cranks and a cheap stem. So... I definitely wouldn't put much money into it if at all. There are better choices out there for someone that is serious about bmx.

Its definitely not a bmx bike as it has mounts for the coaster brake arm
