Yes u can flip it over to have more rise but some front load stems barely give you any rise when you flip them over(mine)

Odyssey classic topload at dans for 29.99 right now. That wont slip if you tighten it properly.

This. Mine works good and i've had no problems. If you're getting a new stem theres no reason in getting a front load and flipping it, just go ahead and get a top load.

Bmxican406 has had one for a couple months now and he shreds. I was a bit concerned because its cast, but its holding up.
