So I ride a 2012 WTP Crysis and every time I want to take the back wheel off I have to break the chain with a chain tool. Its really annoying and I was wondering if there was something that I could do so that I can just slam the hub and pull the chain off? I'm not sure if it's just because of short dropouts or what

Half link chain, leave one half link extra for it. Otherwise not really, this is why I don't slam my wheel so tight. I have enough play to get my wheel off. If wheel slippage happens, get a chain tensioner.

Could get a female axle so you could just take the bolts out and push the wheel past the dropouts that's what I'm gonna do eventually.

How does that work? I've alway run full link chains, but what about the odyssey bluebird? Or a KMC halflink?

Bluebird has a half link pre installed so it is stronger if you decide to run it and the chain is based of off the KMC 510 which is supposed to be one of the best chain out right now.
