I was wondering is there anything I can do to align the chain when the BB is wider than the rear hub?

There are no spacers at the front sprocket so I am at a lost as to how to make the chain straight.

Here is a photo where I put a ruler in line with the front sprocket and drawn a red line over it. You can see the rear sprocket is off.

Take a spacer out and get ride of that over sized non drive side cone washer, these cranks work best if you have two small cones on both sides

It's not that bad. I've seen worse . Try putting spacers on the drive side to push it the other way ? Haven't really dealt with this myself

Take a better photo ifthe chain tensioner on your drive side. Thats your problem, I'm almost 100% sure. It looks like it's on the tire side of the dropouts.

Will post a photo after work. But the chain tensioner is not on the tire side, this I am very sure. The thing on the tire side is like a big washer with threads on it to grip to the dropout and screws to the axle.

Then that washer is your problem. You should have a locknut there to hold you driver in place and thats all.

Thanks Nwewinit, I just checked again and that is indeed the locknut beside the rear sprocket.

I also measured the spacing between the drop outs and it is 110mm. I guess that is correct.

So I took out my ruler and test it again, it appears that it is straight. Then i realised the problem is when the ruler was bent out by the masterlink in the chain when I first checked.Photo
