Cult halflink chain jumping on my odyssey clutch v1 driver but an old Walmart chain works better but pops a little not as loud as the cult half link chain

Driver's worn more than the chain. Either it has to bed in or you have to get a new driver.

all chains stretch over time, as they do they wear the teeth on the driver. Sounds like the old chain is stretched, so it fits the teeth better. The new chain isn’t stretched, so it’s not fitting on the teeth properly. You could ride up a steep hill a few times to bed the chain in. But you’ll wear it prematurely. And it might not work. A new driver will cure this. New chain and new driver will work perfectly together.
