So recently both of my rims went out and i was looking for a set of rims (front 3/8 bolts rear 9t 14mm bolts cassette) but i only have a budget of $200. Does anyone have any suggestions of some rims that fit my budget?

Do you know if there on danscomp?
Edited Date/Time:
That's kind of stupid to order them from danscomp when you can order directly from revenge on their website , do you like bringing in middle men into all your deals to just throw money down the drain at, that's all danscomp is
I found a Cinema set on danscomp. the ZX set. With both together it's $229.98, but just use the code "46G1" and it's 15% off and about $195.

hope this helps!
A lot of companies actually encourage to buy from retail shops instead of them. It keeps them in demand and these companies will keep investing to carry their products. I have talked with Tree multiple times and they have always encouraged me to buy from the shops that stock their products rather them ..

Well if you wanna go around throwing money away on a third party that's your call , 200 isn't much for wheels , I'd be trying to cut out the middle man any chance I could with that budget , I'm pretty sure if revenge didn't want you to buy from them they wouldn't have the option to buy from them on their site like allot of other companies sites are set up
has anyone tried those rims though? because i dont want to buy rims that won't last me a year or two

I have the zx rear. The spokes suck, the driver is going put after only a year of riding, you have to true it constantly. I actually ride, so that might be the reason.

ik but like big jumps and hard tricks or just alot of riding
I'm not sure exactly what he meant so I can't really answer your question.
There have been instances in the past where someone's bike has just been too perfect looking or something for them to be actually riding it. A lot of people on this site ride, don't get me wrong, I just remember in the past there was a lot of conflict about people calling other people out on not riding or not riding hard or whatever.
Dirt jumps, drops, street, and when I ride, I ride all day, and as hard as I can. Casing stuff, crashing. Sorry if I came off rude but 50% of bmx riders just sit of their bike and talk. I don't do lot's of tricks but I like gaps and bumpjumps, where you basically use your rear wheel to boost off a curb or parking thing. The wheel won't hold up to someone progressing or riding often. Go for the revenge wheels.

They came on my Fit complete. I'm not the smoothest rider at all (but I don't do huge stuff either) and they seemed really solid especially for the money

Trust me. Revenge is better. They come on the fit completes on certain models. So.e kid hasca dugan with them. They are so nice. The hub is really nice. The driver bearings don't suck like the cinema ones. Plus revenge is a legit company.
Keep in mind that most of a rims strength comes from spoke tension. Shit spoke tension will result in even the strongest of rims going to shit quickly. I have a Sun black box rim in the front its overbuilt but still a single wall, not a brag but i build wheels excellently and have had zero issues due to a good build.

I don't mean to be "That guy" but.. Both hubs use the same 6802 bearings in the driver.
Also, the same wheel you're talking about, my friend has it and doesn't have issues at all and he hucks 180 lookbacks down 8 stairs, sketchy flyout 540s, trucks, tailwhips, other random shit like that.. No issues whatsoever. So idk what you're doing to your wheel haha. His DOES have different spokes though, all Shadow. But still.
That said though, either wheelset would be an okay choice, but I personally still think the Revenge wheels are the better choice.

Try looking into building a set via Dan's, perhaps you could find something good in the clearance section.

The driver problem is probably from riding in the dirt every day. If I replaced the spokes the wheel would probably work a lot better. At least your friend is having hood luck with it.
I had the 22 inch version of the Revenge Ohm Wheels awhile back.
They are really good for the money. The rear hub didn't skip, both hubs were smooth enough.
The truth is, if you own a spoke wrench, and aren't scared to use it, the rims will last long enough. As soon as I got mine, before I ever even put them on the bike, I put like two turns of tension into the rear wheel, and like one and a half into the front. I also checked the tension and trued them up a little ever two or three weeks.
I didn't really do a lot of drops on them, and mostly rode trails, but I was fat, sketchy, and cased a lot.
I only sold them because the welded ARCs came out.
If you can't afford at least A+ wheels, these are the only stock cassette wheels I would buy. The price is just way too good.
Also, they are the same price regardless of who you buy them from. You can sometimes find take-offs from complete bikes on ebay that will be LHD, or female hubs or something like that, but generally, you're paying $159 for them no matter where you get them.
I would personally buy them from Empire, if they have them (because I like Empire), or Lenny (dodgedart, or something like that on ebay), but that's just personal preference.
