Clicking sound on my bike

K well I just got a new 27t fit dls and I'm ridding a halflink and before it was great but now I put the new sprocket on and it clicks everytime it gets to a certain point can u guys help me fix this problem

Its your chain. Trust me on this one. I thought it was something else when i had you problem, i got a new BB, tried new cranks, a new sprocket, even a new hub, then found out it way my half link.

take your bb apart and clean/ regrease

I'll try all of those I think it might be cause the chain is to tight or bb needs to be regressed

My bike makes this consistent clicking noise every time it rolls forward and I'm not pedaling or every time I pedal backwards. Please help.

You might need a hat washer for the sprocket unless you have a 22mm crank spindle.

make sure ur chain isnt upside down. make sure the flat part of the chain is on top and the curvy side is on bottom

wow your guys havent said, since your chain was used to your old sprocket, it used to that wear pattern, you slap on a new sprocket and it is going to wear the sprocket so it will be the same as your old sprocket. the chain is just wearing everything in.

i have the same problem right now. i ran a chain on my sprocket for a year and half. then i got a new chain, its been like 3 weeks and it still it wearing it down.

You're not really supposed to replace anything on the drive train without replacing everything on the drive train....
