I got this hub laced to a Ribcage. It arrived last Wednesday and I have ridden it 3 times since. I’ll update this thread over time as needed. I run a 28t so by default I will have slightly less slack than somebody with a 25t. I seem to have about 1/8 of a crank of slack. The first thing I noticed was some clicky sounds coming from the hub. I ride with Lorenzo (aka wearnikes aka yung fakie) and he assured me that this was the sound of the hub breaking in. that sound has since gone away. I have ridden a ratchet for the last 4 years so the difference in drag was immediately noticeable. The hub is extremely smooth and I love the silence. After day one, I decided to mess with the slack adjustment. It took me a minute to figure out that I have to spin the hub until the hole lines up with the grub screw. Then I loosened the screw so as to add more slack. I assumed it came from the factory with max slack so when it only loosened half a turn I wasn’t surprised.
So far, the hub seems to work perfectly. My only complaint is that the non-drive side collar is bulky. I like to do pegless grinds/stalls and it looks like the collar will get in the way and probably take some damage since it is aluminum. My only other option is to run the included hubguard but that makes some pegless tricks impossible. Anyway, this won’t be a problem for most people.
Based on 3 days of riding, I give the hub a 9/10. I can't speak for durability, yet, so take my review with a grain of salt.
If anybody has questions, I will try to answer them.
