Right Guys, I'm Considering Trying Out 180mm Cranks. My Frame Has 13.5" Chain Stays & Will Be Run Around 13.7".. I've Got Sized 10 (US11) Feet & I'm A Little Paranoid About Them Not Clearing The Peg! I'm Over Thinking This Right!!? 180mm's SHOULD Be Fine On 13.7" Chain Stays With My Large-R Feet Right!?

Should be fine. I wear the same size shoe, and I only had a few problems with 175mm cranks on a 13.5" chainstay. Mainly getting my foot caught when bailing on manuals. Moving your wheel back .2" is 5.08mm, so it should be the same.

should be fine, I have size 12 foot and on a 13.7" cs frame I never ever hit my foot off the pegs

180mm on a 13.7 re you probably would hit the pegs, pegless yeah no problem obviously, I would test before buying, that's a bit iffy.

Edit: oh yeah plus your with your size 11 feet I don't know...

If you aren't sure you can always measure if you don't have the parts available for testing

So just measure from the centre of the bb 180mm to centre of the pedal boss then measure your shoes size which would sit roughly just back a little past half way on the pedal/ boss then measure from your centre bb to centre of peg on the 13.7" re and that should give you an idea on if it'll clear or not. hope that helps.

It really depends on where you're comfortable on keeping your feet on the pedals, everyone's different.

Usually more than anything its just back past mid way of the foot on the pedal.

I have no problems with my foot clipping my peg and my rear end length is around 13.7", I have 4 pegs and although I have 175mm cranks, I have UK size 11 (US12) feet.

I love 180mm I have a 10.5 shoe and a 13.6 cs with 4 pegs I have no issues I even ran 180s on a benny l 13 cs and my foot clipped a lil at first but I got used to it and just angled my foot
It may be just in my head but I find 180s feel super stable in mannies and your pedal feels like it really torques makes you go quick with a few pedals

Hope that made sense
You'll be 100% fine with 13.7 and size 11 shoe def get 180mm

Edit: didn't read whole thread congrats on your new cranks
