What size cranks to you guy run/prefer? I know 175mm is somewhat of a standard, but i've been hearing more and more about the advantages to running shorter cranks like 170mm or 165mm. The theory is, when your feet are closer together it makes it easier/gives your legs more power to move your bike around, getting those tucked up bunny hop 3's is supposedly easier. Anyone on here running shorter cranks and feeling the benefits?

Running 160mms right now & it does make a difference. I think if you cant hop 3 its not gunna magically make you hop 3 it just makes it feel a little more controllable. Gunna run 165mms on the new bike, im deffo hooked on the short crank craze!

I'm sticking with 175. I have really long legs though. I wouldn't go any longer. Although there are advantages to shorter Cranks, they make it harder to pedal.

Plan on going a little shorter with my next cranks, probably 165 just to try out something new.

Nice! I might go with 170mm for the next cranks I get. If David Grant can ride 170's i'm definitely not too tall. haha

I'd like some 165's but not enough to order new cranks

I'm on 175 right now. Been wanting to try 170-165. I was thinking shorter arms would make pedaling back feel smoother, because you're pedaling in tighter circles. But I guess that depends mostly on a rider's leg size too. Too bad most companies don't offer more variety in size.

I would want shorter ones because of frames have shorter chainstays, and just in general for flowy street, they won't get in the way

I like 175mm cranks.
My plan was if I'm gonna get a Broadcaster I'm gonna switch for some 165mm Bitchin's and see how they feel, but I'm fine for now.
