So, I have some Primo cranks (I think they're powerbites). The insert in the crank arm comes loose about once a month, and if I don't tighten it with a hammer and a tap, it's constant squeaking and I can feel my pedal moving. I'm about to just get new cranks, but before I resort to that, anybody have any suggestions? The cranks are solid apart from the insert issue.

Alright, I'll give that one a try, sounds like a solid idea. I always grease my pedal threads. How old is your set? These have been through a couple people so the age may be a big factor in the loosening.

I'm not really worried about the squeaking, my pedals do that by themselves lol. I'm just afraid that my pedal is going to fall off mid trick one day >.>
