About to lace up my Alienation Runaways which use a cross lace pattern (same as Gsport).

Just curious on how to true them? Is there any special way to do it? It seems because its cross lace it will require a different method of truing?

So say the rim kicks to the right, would i still tighten the left side to pull it to the left? I feel like tightening the left will only pull it more to the right.

Standard truing techniques should be fine. Just seems weird cause the spokes hit the oppo side of the rim.

Yep. If you can true a regular rim, it'll turn out the same. Lacing my first gsport kinda threw me off at first, but it'll come out straight.

Thanks guys! Somehow I managed to lace the front perfect? After tightening the spokes and dishing the rim, I set it in my truing stand and gave it a spin and theres was absolutely no wobble or hop at all?? Idfk. Photo

Looking good!
You'll have to true it again once, then it will stay trued forever. lol
