Has anyone ever wondered why cult started making “crew” parts like hubs and bars when it used to have like the cult match hub and stuff. It seems like they aren’t trying to keep up in style because I look at their old hubs and they look cooler then the new ones Photo

Parts looking cool is a relative thing, and an opinion. Besides, all companies have changed the last couple years.

I don’t see profile going anywhere , but if you think about it robo was ahead of the curve in seeing it’s not worth the money to produce American made frames when for a cheaper cost you can questionably get better quality in Taiwan , that rob o guy has been ahead of the curve on allot in BMX over the years he’s a smart dude

I think the new generation is just not that into BMX, so companies had to scale down their business models by eliminating all the excess, which is why every part and frame today looks the same and comes in like 2 colorways. Remember when you could chose between like 15 different colorways for a stem? It seemed stupid even at the time, like who would ever want a hot yellow Shadow front load stem... and yet it made BMX so much more customizable and unique. Now everyone is just the same.

Black parts is the thing now, I'd imagine colors will come back into style in a few years

Im a fan of simple looking things. I do like my bike to look "cool" but to most people I look like a fool anyway...

I have had little kids walk up to me while Im grinding or something. They have said things like "Your bike is too small for you, that bike is for my size"... And adults have asked me why I dont ride a "grown-up" bike.

I do love when kids say my bike is too small and Im like "here, go for a little ride..." And they roll around barely able to pedal with their arms and legs so far out they are basically doing a nothing and the crossbar is level with their forehead. Lol

Bullet, that's funny stuff, yeah most people don't realize that 20" bikes come in a lot of sizes. Kid at the skate park wanted to ride my bike so I let him. He didn't go far and turned right around and handed back, he didn't like it lol.
