yeah I wasnt very impressed with the stock springfield levels....

so 10 dollars for a better lever, Yeah i'd say its worth it, but cut your grip back that might help any lever will be weaker if its on a bend.
or get a shadow Sano lever, Best lever I've ever had. period.

I've heard the levers that come with the Springfield kit kinda suck. Just get a replacement lever I guess

Springfeild levers are a budget lever. Nowhere near as good as a decently priced lever.
Get a tech 77, a dirt Harry, a gold finger or a monolever

Tech 77 is 13 bucks. Best bang for your buck. I've been running them for 25+ years.
I think the Springfield lever would be okay but clearly not when put on the bend.
