Hey guys, we had a thread a while back for custom bikes for under like 500 or 600 bucks, and I thought that was awesome, and VERY helpful for some of the riders asking about completes, as they could potentially get more bang for their buck. I happened to notice some solid deals on some parts to make some decent wheels for pretty cheap. Check em out, and feel free to post what you have seen as well. Perhaps we can work together to post up a brand new solid custom setup on the cheap.

Here are the wheel parts I found. Keep in mind it is NOT all in one place, these are Albes and Dans. Let's try to keep the origin countries the same, so UK folks keep to the UK mailorders, US to the US, AUS to AUS so we don't get bummed when you find a stem in the UK, a frame in AUS, and the rest in the US.

Then you get some spokes as low as 20 cents each from dans, and you have a pretty solid wheelset for around 150 bucks, brand new everything.
