I'm leaning toward the Akimbos, but I've heard that the aluminum bolt can snap off... Does anyone have experience with either of these cranks?

I had the Akimbos for a little less than 2 years I think, no problems aside from the "wobble" that comes from leaving them even a little bit loose. Which sucks cause the bolts are aluminum and they can & will snap if you tighten them too much. Mine did. Luckily my friend had a Fly crank bolt that was chromoly and it fit.
That same friend also got his own pair of Akimbos and eventually snapped the pedal boss clean off though...
Don't know too much about the Rig cranks though, I know people used to snap their Medial 1.0 & 2.0 cranks ALLLL the time though but I have no idea about the Rig cranks.
If I were you I'd save yourself the trouble and get Thunderbolts. I've had mine for 3 years now with 0 issues.

I just got the rigs 2 days ago and i love them. They look beefy af and i love the colour.
On the demolition website they claim to have a lifetime warranty on snapping the arms and spindle.

I think I'll go with Demo rigs... They come with a BB and I haven't heard anything bad about the hardware, such as the bolts. I hate having to find little replacement parts. Does anyone know if the Fit 24mm bottom bracket spacer would work with these cranks? Or would virtually any spacer work?

The demo rig cranks come with its own bb spacer and 4 crank spacers to get you cranks dialled in. Personally, i had to cut my bb spacer down like 2cm because it was too long. If its too short add some spacers, if its too long then cut it then sand it down and clean off all the metal shavings. Not sure about the fit spacer, should be the same as the demo but it might be longer or shorter.
Good luck!

Alright thanks! I was under the impression that they didn't, so thank you! Hopefully I'll be getting a pair soon.

For some reason on DansComp, it says that they do not come with a bottom bracket. I wouldn't be ordering from them, but why would it say that?
I have the animals and they're the best cranks ever haha . I love them . My local shop has the rigs and they're cool but they weigh a fucking ton and 24 is just unnecessary if you're not having issues with 22mm cranks . Also , I don't like the design , how you have to use a socket tool ( even tho I think there's an Allan insert too now ...? ) . Animal is simple , and the packing is sick as fuck too

I don't know why it would say that but as long as the website you are ordering from says it has a bb with it then you should be good.
