Alright so I have a demolition freecoaster that I got last Christmas and I bought the hub with the hub guard and everytime I tighten the wheel back on the frame the wheel is still loose and with like slightly shake. Does anyone have any certain way on how the tighten ther free coaster?

Make sure cones are tight and that everything rolls smoothly. So take your wheel off and make sure the axle rotates easily, without what feels like grippy spots if that makes sense.

If things feel smooth, make sure everything is snug. If not, you have a bearing going bad.

Also check to make sure the wobble you mention isn't just loose spokes. Does the hub have play or wobble, or does it only happen with the rim itself?

And cranking things down in a hub is not a good idea. There is a correct level of tightness for cones. If you have troubles, ask either a friend WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING, or go to a local shop.

bmxsteve doesn't know jack shit about the coaster I had. He just says its the thread count that fucked the axle when it was nut that was the same and the axle was factory-fucked out of the box.

I ain't no mechanic , but I can turn a fucking wrench and factory seized shit sucks Steve's

EDIT : He's never even seen the fucking thing either

This, I've never come across a KHE style coaster that didn't have wobble.

Tighten cone nut too tigh, then use two wrenches and loosen the cone nut into the lock nut while tightening the lock nut. LBS showed me that one, works on MOST hubs. Do this until the hub spins somewhat freely (there should be resistance from the grease, but NOT A LOT) and there is NO wobble whatsoever. Spin axle and check for wobbles. And if it doesn't work for you that great, then use another method. Half the people that try this end up stripping their axles or axle nuts because they think "TIGHTER IS BETTER". Edit: this is a coaster, fuck all the shit I. Typed up all this shit I learned but NOOOOOO. You just gotta be all new and trendy with a fuckin coaster. Frickin people and their fricken parts that don't know jack shit about.

The inner cone on a coaster isnt threaded. That trick does work but not on khe style coasters

I'm going to buy a coaster just to mangle and play with, see what goes on inside.

my demo doesn't have any noticeable wobble
i tighten finger tight on both sides (as tight as i can do it) and then use a wrench and allen key and tighten each side an 1/8 turn and it works out fine

might want to re pack it with grease as well
