we sell them at work... they are okay for the money... if your looking to spend a couple hundred bucks on an intro bike look into the mongoose brawler. we sell it at work (dicks sporting goods) for around 220 so thats a comparable pricerange but much better bike for the money.
the brawlers got a cromo front triangle and halfway decent parts on it. the diamondback joker has a hi-ten steel frame which is more prone to bend and break than a cromo frame will and a shit ton heavier.
BMX riding Cop... Let that sink in for a minute.

once i started really getting into bmx before i got good, not to brag lol, i bent the shit outa the frame just from doing 360s. that was years ago.

haha thats sweet
like one day every unsealed bearing started to shit out on me so i was fucked after that ha

hi tense steel dents easily.
my wtp reason frame is high ten steel and i dented the bottom of the chain stay when i was grinding.
ridebmxnc, you know a lot about trails but with the mongoose brawler have u riden one?
my friend has one as his first decent bmx bike and it sucks so bad. its heavy and it has terrible frame geoemetry. and its set up so weird, he went to put on a new sproket and there are like threaded washers holdin in the sproket and he couldnt get them off.
im just saying that i have to disagree with u here.
we the people bike co.
well thanks everyone for your feedback, i wasnt planning on getting one. Just my Cousin said something about them and i just wanted to know if they were any good. Myself i Kinda want a FBM Executioner You guys got anything to say about them? Im not a very good at bmx i usually just Go off little jumps and race friends... blah childish stuff i guess but i want a new good bike to start getting into bmx.. lol yeah well...?? haha bye for now.

ya i meant to type the more prone to dent part too but i guess i didnt.
yeah i ride the brawlers around the store and out in the parking lot all the time. i really like the geo on it, but to each his own. never had a problem working on one either. as far as the weight goes, the brawler is a shit ton lighter than the joker. the brawler weighs around 27lbs, they dont even list the weight on the joker b/c its heavy as fuck. hell my bike weighs more than 27 lbs...
get the fbm over the other bikes listed in this thread.
BMX riding Cop... Let that sink in for a minute.
Yeah, Thanks, but can you think of any other bikes that would be better for around 320$?

There great bikes. I use to have a 2001 Joker. I opened the drop outs and made custom changes, put in a 3-pc, swapped rims and other stuff. Unless you have the will and the talent to custom build bikes I suggest you look for another bike. I have deep love and respect for this company and to this day keep rocking their brand. Diamondback has been around since 1978 and it looks like it's here to stay. I have a 2002 Mr.Lucky, 2001 Fester and I'm hooking up my friend with a Ju Ju.
