Ive been riding for 2 years now and cant properly hit a box or dirt jump. I usually ride just street , but im not a beginner. I learned 180s, bars, 360s, 3 taps, tail whip on banks(land sitting on my seat) and 180 bars and more. But whenever I go to ride dirt(not often at all) my body is fully extended in the air and i start to lean to the side in the air and I cant land. Almost everytime this happens. I can hop high and stuff i just cant maintain balance in the air. I think it might be the way i take off. Is my body supposed to be extended? How can i keep my self from leaning to the side of the seat in the air?

You could always just do what I do and forget about dirt for a long period of time and stick to what you're good at.

I can't hit dirt jumps so I really can't help you, sorry about that. On the bright side, we live fairly close to each other!

There is really nothing much to it. Pedal fast, Pump your back end and pray for the best

do you jump curb cuts? and jump off stairs/loading docks?

a piece of wood, a cinder block = instant crappy jump.

Just keep riding around and launching off stuff.
