Does anyone here read at all? BMX-related or otherwise?

I'm blown away by Cormac McCarthy, author of No Country for Old Men.

Just wondering.

i have seen the movie no country for old men and i enjoyed it, so i would imagine the book is better than the movie

have you seen the movie for The Road? i thought it was pretty good. for the most part i thought it stayed pretty true to the book, and the parts where it did stray from the book, it didn't really effect anything in a negative way

Nah, I've never seen any of the movies based off McCarthy's novels...I really want to though.

If it's really good I will but most of the time, I just wait for the movie.

I usually only read to educate myself on something. But I did start reading 'The Road' about a year ago... I was really into it, but then I just stopped reading it. I'm still only about 75% through. I just can't bring myself to read something when I know I could be doing something more important. But thats just my opinion. I find reading much like watching TV. And whenever I watch TV I'm always doing something else at the same time, and that's impossible while reading a story.

The Road is amazing though...very depressing actually, but I couldn't put it down. Awesome book.
