Hi!, i´d broken my front hub, and i am going to buy another, what hub would you recomend me?Do you think that the odissey v2, the primo n4 and n4 fl, the cult match are good? I am going to do street (no grind) and a litle of skate park.
Thanks!!

if you don't grind the odyssey vandero 2 would be good (better get female axles ) or maybe profile mini

not saying that the n4 n4fl or the match are bad just that i wouldn't get the n4 cause it has a male axle, the n4fl is a little more grinding type hub (comes with hub guards) and the cult is quiet new on the market so i don't know much about it

Primo n4 if you don't ride pegs, primo n4fl if you ride pegs.

i would get a profile mini then you can ride pegless or run pegs later on if you want

in bmx you get what you pay for......profile may cost more but they may also last twice as long as the other hubs

Id probably go with either Animal Javelin Hub, Tree Straight Pull or Flybike Front Hub, you can sometimes find the Fly hubs online for around $50-$60 brand new.

lol, not all the time, with Profile hubs you're simply paying extra for a proprietary hub design, and on some of them titanium BS. In the end, on the front, you're still getting an aluminum shell w/ some bearings inside. Their shit holds up just about the same as everyone else's and if you grind, they usually don't last as long.

That said, buy the Vandero 2, no question.

but, why odissey vandero v2 and no demolition bulimian primo n4 or superstar overdrive?

|

10/6/2012 12:17 PM

i'd say odyssey over those cause the demo and the n4 are male axles and female axles are stronger, i don't know about the superstar
anyway the vandero is proven to be a strong hub

Because it has less problems, very few are returned to the shop, they hold up really well. + female axles, which are always better than regular axles. Plus it's Odyssey so you can buy replacement parts to keep it running, and they use standard stuff on all their parts, which means it's likely to last you for F'n ever. Superstar overdrive? I don't even know who makes those... why buy no-name parts?

Odyssey makes some of the best parts out there.
