Its a simple, reliable design. 6902 bearings and 4spring and pawl driver. I would personally go with a Cult Match since it has wider hub flanges, same bearings, same driver style, and is like $60 cheaper.
Only reason behind the price of the Kolibri is that its Èclat, which is made in Germany, so import costs are EXPENSIVE. Its actually designed to be a budget hub, cheaper than the Cult Match and other hubs. Just expensive here in America.

Elites aren't nearly as overpriced as Kolibris... I mean they wouldn't be if Profile could actually machine their shit to proper tolerances and fix their mistakes rather than just using shims.

The hubs are made in Taiwan just like most other hubs. There's really no reason for them to cost so much here.
But yeah, there are much better options for cheaper.

How much do you think Kolibri's are? Cause Profile Elite Hubs are like 300+ and the Kolibri's hubs are like 160 or 170
