OK guys back again but this time there's play in my brake lever where no amount of pressure is being applied to back tire. YouTube is not helping so I came here.....its a brand new bike got it yesterday. I just don't know why there's play....its about half an inch. Plz let me know what u guys think is wrong and the remedy(fix).

So the lever can pull back around half an inch?
Sounds like there is slack in the line, and the cable needs to be adjusted.

So I have to adjust the cable...how? Gotta remember I started this whole box thing only like a month agho

OK I'll look up everything u guys have told me ....hopefully I can find it and once again thnx for the help I may do a bike review of this stock lol and look back at it in a few years and see what's changed. Thx again and ride on

Look up how to adjust your brakes and just try adjusting them. Had to do this to a friends bike the other day!

Barrel adjusters work only for a bit of slack.
First, re-tension the line by undoing the bolt at the noodle thingamajig, pulling the wire thru, then retightening.
Then it should be fine.
It can loosen over time if you didn't make it strong enough, so you can either use the barrel adjusters or redo the whole process.
It doesn't matter where a train goes. It's decidin' to get on that does.

Thx everyone I got it to tighten up...its very low on play now and the for replying to my nonsense as always ride on
