Yo guys i was thinking about getting a coaster but basicly i hâve to get female Axel version coaster bécasse my dropouts are so fucked I can't take male axle out , I was wandering if anyone had tried the federal freecoaster v3 in female and is it any good ?

haven't got it in female, but I would assume it's pretty much the same to the male version, so it gets a solid thumbs up from me.

My dropouts bent onto my axle and I ahead to hammer it out. Use a metal file to open up the dropouts so you can slide the axle through. I don't know much about the federal hub though. Sorry

Max is correct, take a file to the dropouts and open them back up to 14mm, and as for federal coasters, my v2 was amazingly good, never been opened up either. Picking up a v3 soon from a friend.

How do you guys trash dropouts that are the same size as the pegs?
I can understand if you have a frame from 2005 but nowadays?

I have the female V3 Fed coaster for over a year now and it's still going strong..I'm not too clean on my grinds either and I try to grind shit you probably shouldn't too..its holding up well tho..the only thing is that it does need to be broken down and regreased every once in a while..maybe every two to three months or so but that seems to be the case with all of the ones that use the slack adjustment washers..overall it's solid
