Alright whats up guys my name's Mike i'm 18 from NJ..I stopped doing bmx i'd say around 2008 so around 5 years ago. I'm coming back to bmx and I want to complete my bike..what i plan on replacing is the frame and cranks.
now..i know this might seem like a stupid question, but what's the difference between 20.6" and 21" on the frame?
For example i'm looking at the Stolen Cherry Frame on Danscomp - http://www.danscomp.com/products-FRAMES/211234/Stolen_Cherry_Frame.html#
there's 3 options, 20.25",20.6",and 21". What's the whole difference? I believe its something about the height of the person? If that's it..i'm 6'1, what one would be best?
Also on that note for cranks, http://www.danscomp.com/products-PARTS/452595/Odyssey_Thunderbolt_Socket_Drive_Cranks.html
would these fit on this frame? If not i'd love to hear suggestions

on a side note i know some of these questions might seem silly or dumb but i can't remember half of the things i knew back 5 years ago. i really would appreciate any help, thanks guys

depends on your riding though if your riding trains and park id suggest 21.25 street id go with the 21. and the cranks you listed are good you can go with the bsd substance or animal akimbos all greta choices and not a big difference. but for your new frame your gonnna have to buy a new bottom bracket for your frame (unless you have one already that will fit your cranks and frame) most frames are mid botom bracket but if you change your mind a go with a fly itll be a spanish bb. if you go on danscomp and scroll down to the specs it should say "mid" or "spanish" bb. also when you go on the cranks you want and if you scroll down itll say 22mm or 19mm spindle. so lets say you get the stolen frame and odyssey cranks you would get a 22mm mid bb. and you can ask danscomp to install it for you its only like 5 bucks and youll be ready to go sraight out da box hahah hope this helped

With those Cranks you'll need a different sprocket, so I'd get normal Thunderbolts if I were you. And you'll need a 22mm Mid Bottom Bracket with Thundebolts and that Frame. The number are the Toptube lengths, if I were you I'd go for the 21".

Yeah if you;re 6'1 get the 21" the bigger the number the longer it is. I'm 5'8 and ride a 20.6 and a 20.75 the cranks all depend on your bottom bracket.

https://www.danscomp.com/211729.php Premium Stray Frame 21" with a mid BB...
and the cranks... http://www.danscomp.com/products/452002/Animal_Akimbo_Cranks.html would these cranks fit on the frame?
and i'd have to buy the spindle bolts obviously, http://www.danscomp.com/products/455263/Animal_Akimbo_Spindle_Bolts.html

You don't need to buy spindle bolts since the cranks already come with them. Also look in the sale section for frames since they have a 15% off

Yeah the Cranks come with Bolts. And don't buy a Premium frame because they're overpriced and nothing special, and also a mate of mine got a new Frame for his Premium Spire because it was really badly scratched all over. That Frame was 3 Weeks old.

Being 6'0, I would definitely go with a 21.25. I have a 21.25 Redline Device G7, and it's nice and solid. I am also 250 lbs and assume you're not 6'1" and 125. I would def look at Sunday frames, or what I have, the G7. Strong and heat treated is always a good starting point for a frame.

Youre not an idiot for having an opinion but when you say that someone is sloppy that is praised for his smooth techy style.. That makes you an idiot.
