Saw this on the Merged. Seems pretty nice actually. I really like the internal gusset in the TT and the external on the bottom. Seems like it would cope with stress well. The geo is pretty interesting too. 75.5 is pretty crazy! All in all, it seems like a sick ass frame. May be worth buying in the future.

bb is too low for me

I'm on the vital legit list!

im split
i don't like the geo at all, and no top gussett looks horrible to me
but the internal gussett idea is cool because its different, and chain tensioners are one of my top favorite features to have on a frame

I wonder when people will realize "internal gusset" just means butting.

I was hoping they used "Reynolds Tubing" for the frame.

Looks cool and low BBs are what he's had on all his frames so no surprises there and they seem to work well enough for him

Internal "gussets" do fuck all, its a thick butting in that area that does fuck all to spread stress forces like a proper external gusset.

What makes this so signature, that everyones favourite fap has his name to it?

I only like the paint. Why have a brakeless model and a removable mount model? Go welded or go none if thats the route youre going to take.

Because a majority of breakless riders dont want a frame with mounts. Also, numbers have been counted for pre-order showing large demands for both types of frames. There is a demand for both and they made the option for people who wanted something a little specific.

Then brakeless riders buy the brakeless version, but the ones who want brakes have to deal with inferior mounts.

Im sure if the numbers were high enough in pre-orders/sales for welded on mounts it would be done, to some it may not be marketable and no shop is going to want stock that doesnt move. This option still gives riders a frame they like should all brakeless frames sell out. Removable has now become the standard of now. I can understand what you are saying though. Im sure more removable mount frames will be made more then brakeless since it can sell to a wider diversity. Also, there is more and more people getting into riding each day, Im sure we all know plenty who have rode brakes and took them off, as well as wanting the lugs remove for a cleaner looking frame. To each their own, I do like the geo of this frame and color. Chain tensioners are cool but I slam my wheel and prefer my chain not to be super tight.. only wish they made a 21.25tt but the numbers werent high enough in demand compared to all the other sizes.

Then they would have to make more frames, and some of them wouldn't sell, then they'd be stuck with more frames with brake mounts since the majority of riders (here at least) ride brakeless. They'd be losing out on money by not selling the frames with brake mounts. Just how I see it though.

Plus some people might wanna put brakes on later down the road, and if they buy a brakeless frame.. Then they're fucked. I ride brakeless, but I randomly got the urge to ride brakes for a little while about a month ago. If my frame was brakeless, then I wouldn't have been able to.

Multiple people deal with welded mounts when they go brakeless. it's not ugly at all. At least not to me

I didn't mind it when I had a frame with welded mounts.

Some people hate it though and like the clean look of no mounts.

Removable mounts in my opinion is just fine, if they aren't shitty. I had 0 problems with my Sunday mounts and they didn't get stuck to the bolt either like some people seem to have problems with.

Bottom line, companies can't please everyone at once haha.

Personally, this frame is pretty nice to me. I LIKE internal gussets, sure it is mainly just thicker butting, but it keeps the frame from buckling at that point, like my Aitken did.

75.5 isn't bad, my 2012 Federal Lacey has that, and with my front stoppers I have a like 12 mm offset fork. It's a solid angle for me.

Its too much for me with my current fork. 24mm and 75.5 would send me OTB everytime i land a little nosed on airs. Shit i mean it practically does now. Plus i like how this one nose manuals, even though i'm not exactly good at them because theyre scary.

75.5 is nicer with a 32 offset fork really. Otherwise its terrifying to me haha
